Comments:
Murphy visited the shack this time. One Alpha 87A wouldn't turn on, so it was a
one radio operation. About 40 minutes in, it seemed the W5XD Multi-keyer
started losing its connection to the computer. Computer sent CW became
intermittant, as did band data going to the band decoders. I must have lost 10
minutes and a few QSOs trying to get that sorted out. The problem continued the
rest of the contest, but by then I had the band decoder set manually, so the amp
didn't pop off or the receiver go deaf during an intermittant, and I was ready
to send by hand if the computer stopped. Apologies to those who were in QSO
with me when I just "went away." This is the first time I had more QSOs in the
last hour than any other.
Heard RI and MAR, but couldn't snag the QSO for the mult.
