After my winning entry in 2001 I gave an other try to the Salmons. Well, being
on the top of the cycle and at the bottom makes a difference. This year no
mobile QSOs, I was calling N7EIE/M for a double mult for abt 10 mins without
being to able to raise his attention.
In 2000 it was wasy to work WA on phone on CQs but this year only one QSO was
made this way. Most of the QSos were made on CQ on CW.
Condx was ok, K7HBN had a good signal with his QRP rig hr. I think the problem
was that all WA stations had their antennas to the USA and did not hear me
wrell from the side (W7>HA should be around 10 degs azimuth)
Working San Juan County was nice. K7RL, W7DX had a GIANT sig here.
