Comments:
Condtions were better than expected, especially on 15M and 10M, but not good
enough to set a new record. S9 static crashes during a stormy Sunday lunchtime
were eventually traced to interaction between catenary wires supporting two
Yagis at the common pole - thankfully the WX improved enough to separate the
wires and raise a 15M Yagi ready for CQ WW.
As usual it was a lot of fun. Highlights included working G3SXW running QRP
despite a sizeable EU pileup on 40M, and being called by an OY stn near the
end.
Equipment: Two stations each running FT1000MP radio plus amp.
Antennas: 160M/80M - Vertical with elevated radials
40M - Vee beams
20M - 5 el yagi beams to USA and EU LP, vee beams in other directions
15M - Vee beams
10M - 6 el yagi beams to USA and SP to EU/AS
