I squeezed as many minutes out of this contest as I possibly could, with just
too many outside events to deal with - a family wedding, family gatherings,
the normal action with the kids, etc. At one point Saturday night, I was
standing up with the baby in my arms, punching the keyboard with one hand
while
trying to keep the kid from a scream-fest. More time would have meant more
Q's.
Mult #72 was N8NA in DE, who was CQ'ing just above me on 80 when I decided to
go hunting for any mults with about 10 minutes to go. I never heard the 8
that
I missed (WY, SB, PAC, PR, AK, NT, MB, AB.) I just wasn't on the air enough
to even worry about it.
