GREAT CONTEST! Tons of stations on both nights...Saturday evening much better
than Friday for DX!.... Even though I live in the city..I am very fortunate to
have 3 beverages! 301 ft to EU, 450 Feet S/SW (VK/ZL), and ond 400 footer to
the W/NW. They really seem to work well for being so short..but anything is
better than listening on the transmit Shunt fed tower! HI HI..
Rig: ICOM 756 PRO 2 and AL-1200. (With HeIL Noise cancelling headphones!!!)
TX ANT: 88 Foot Shunt fed tower with 100 radials. (Over 9000 feet of wire at
this time...)
RX ANT: Beverages.
Thanks to all who called and the DX stations for being so patient when the QSB
set in!
