Comments:
Very limited time for me this weekend due to shopping for my trip to C6 next
weekend, rebuilding my logging laptop and other such fun. Once stuff settled
down a little I had a few hours on Saturday night and most of the day on Sunday
to contest.
20 was pretty decent on Sunday, but I was surprised how weak Europe was on 15,
and of course 10 wasn't in great shape to say the least. Also surprising was a
lack of South Americans of 15 in the late afternoon - usually I can hear a
zillion PYs and LUs starting around 3 or 4 but this year it seemed like there
were only a handful.
On the other hand, 80 on Saturday night was great. Signals were just blasting
in from Europe, all 599+, and I managed to bang out three new ones on topband
despite not having a decent receive antenna up yet.
RIG: Mark V
