Rig: Yaesu FT1000 Mark V with an amplifier, 1 kw.
Antenna: Inverted V with apex at 20 meters
Beverages: 100 meters to USA, 250 meters to EU
Some problems,m as always:
- very strong storm. The mast supporting the Inverted-V was broken at 3 meters
from the top. The feedpoint of the antenna fell down about 6 meters on
Saturday. Fortunately, the coax was well fixed on the mast and kept the
feedpoint at about 14 meters.
- some noise from the near-by Galdar city, with the S-meter sometimes up to
S7.
I was sure to find comments like "EA8EA Big Sig No Ears..." in the DX Cluster.
No such comments appeared, though. TNX guys for being so polite...
