Comments:

I was finally getting the hang of PC logging (or so I thought) when, lo and
behold, 5 minutes before the contest I discovered my Config file was messed up
and couldnt do S&P mode or many other vital features. Yikes! I was preparing to
use paper/pencil and keyer for the mini-sprint when my elmer Jim, N3BB, insisted
that I use the PC for logging, problems and all. Turned out to be a good
confidence builder. Despite a slow start the first few minutes while adapting
to the crippled capabilities, I wound up hitting a few good grooves and made
better band changes for multipliers than in previous weeks. My apologies to
Tor N4OGW and Steve K0XP for asking for several repeats (!) - I'm looking
forward to learning names and QTH's over the coming weeks, and am anxious to
get my code copying skills up while gaining confidence with this newfangled PC
logging software:-) Its getting a little easier each week, and its a HECK of a
lot of fun! Great operators, and wonderful courtesy and competitiveness makes
this something I now look forward to each week.
