20 meters was definitely the place to be until propagation gave out around
0230Z. Things went down hill from there in a hurry... 40 was somewhat
tolerable, but 80 was pretty much all ESP due to S9+ QRN from the storms to the
West. I tried 160 at 0530, but only heard bits and pieces of NN7ZZ (I think!).
I periodically checked 15 meters for activity, finally finding W7RN at 1824Z.
The band was open, but no activity.
