SFI=68, A=12>7 K=3>1.

Absolutely horrid band conditions. Maybe worst ever, at least for the first 36
hours of this one. I popped into the shack every hour or so to see if anything
was happening, and it wasn't until Sunday morning I found enough stations to
sit down for (had just 18 Qs up till 1600z/ 9 a.m. Pacific Sunday morning).

EU was workable on 20M for most of the daylight hours Sunday, but not too many
stations on and aiming over the pole toward B.C. I suspect scores will reveal
the gigantic eastern advantage in this one. C'est la vie on the far wet coast.

Didn't hear a single EU on 40M though I heard lots out east making Qs to beat
the band (last year worked 19 Qs for 40 mults, this year zero for zero).

Did crack 15M with two hard-earned Qs and 4 mults, which felt good.

Took the whole weekend to make a couple of hours' worth of contacts. Yikes. At
least I had a good excuse not to mow lawns -- i.e. "Honey, Europe could open up
at any moment" (insert sound of novel page turning and slurping of iced tea
here). I managed to pass off almost all Qs in QTCs, so it wasn't a total
washout, but it was next to a total washout. Did better than this with a dipole
and low power in 2004. Full power and yagi didn't help much with a dead
ionosphere to contend with. Might sniff around for Perseid meteor scatter Qs on
6M tonight. Can't be any fewer QSOs there than in WAE this weekend, hi.

Year Qs Mults Score (claimed)
2007: 124 62 15,128 (HP)

2005: 71 52 7,124
2004: 102 76 15,276
2003: 58 18 1,944
2002: 41 38 1,520
