Comments:
This event is always great fun regardless of conditions. Family
responsibilities prevented a full effort. My start was late. I was very
pleased to have 53 mults before quitting my first stint of 3 hours at 20Z.
Those missing were the 7s ID, NV, OR, UT and VE8/VY1. Sunday afternoon I
headed to 40 and picked up all four in eight minutes! All my begging and
pleading on SSB for J and company bore no fruit. C'est la vie. Some
big numbers were heard from the "usual suspects." Nice work, gents!
My 182 hour on 20SSB was a blast! Thanks and congratulations to the new
General class young person who called in. May we work you in many more
contests to come!
