Comments:

Coming in into the contest I didn't think I would achieve a score over
1Meg....WRONG! With a C4 at 40+/- FT and a G5RV for 80/160 at 55FT it was a
good challenge. (Also a C3SS for 10/15M at 40+/- for second radio). I mostly
S&P unless I find a really good opening, which I believe really helped my
score. Started off on 40/80/160 for the first night, all S&P. I consider about
40 a solid start, considering I got home from double sessions from basketball
tryouts the same day. I was really tired and I forgot the contest started at
7PM not 8PM!!! I luckily woke up at 6:55 and had a few minutes to prepare,
pretty much to get the computers set-up and the make sure the logging program
was working.

I ended up getting a slurpy around 1AM Saturday morning, which helped me stay
up for a few more hours! (The key to success!). Went to sleep around 4:30
hoping for a few hours of sleep and slept till 9:30. S&P on 20/15 all morning
and went to 10M for a few much needed multipliers. We went to the driving range
around mid-afternoon after the EU opening. Than I gave my dads ping-pong lesson,
which I crush him.hi. I did not take my afternoon nap this time, which resulted
in more Q's. S&P on 40M later on.

Took a dinner break and continued and got more multipliers on 80 and 160M. At
about 05:00Z, 80M was very quiet and everyone spotted was heard. I started to
CQ and got a spot and had a nice run on EU going. The dipole at 55/60FT is
pretty good when conditions are decent. Went to bed around 07:00Z after working
3V2A on 80M. Came back around 13:00Z and started on 20M. Again, the noise was
very quiet and started to CQ and had some decent runs. I played around with the
second radio on 15M and worked some Caribbean multipliers. Had dinner around 5PM
and called it a night.

Total time on: 29.88HRS

I had quite a few new ones on 160M and even worked a VU on 20M.
