My T-vertical for Top Band collapsed in a recent storm, so I was just about to
signal W.O. in this year´s CQWW 160. But, somehow, you cannot just ignore a
contest like this one, rain or shine. So on Saturday, I put together a
make-shift wire vertical, only 8.5 meters high with some top loading and jumped
into the game on Sunday afternoon. And this I do not regret. CQWW 160 is
certainly a great contest! Lots of activity, good conds.
