Comments:

Tied last year's QSO total and lost points because of this year's multiplier
count. I started on 20-Meters calling CQ and/or SP waiting for the last half
hour. The last half-hour is opportunistic for a low-power operator like myself.
Improved odds at being heard on the last 30-minutes of each hour. My rate picked
up before moving to 40-Meters. Same strategy on 40-Meters but the band was a
struggle this evening. Picked up six multipliers on 40 then moved to 80-Meters
for the conclusion of the contest. I called CQ more times than not on 80 and
enjoyed short hop between Oregon and California.

My last-hour rate indicated 16 and last-ten showed 17 with an overall rate of
16 per hour. Worked at least one multiplier in each section except for 8-land
this year. Best multiplier section was 4-land missing VA and SC. I did not work
any VE multipliers but heard a few on 20-Meters.

Lots of Ham Radio fun on a Saturday evening and it was Sprint style for sure.
Thanks for a great contest and looking forward to beating my score in the next
one.

73, Scot KA3DRR
