I've noticed the contest by coincidence. Worked a couple of stations saturday,
after lunch, then at night made a few calls on the lower bands and sunday
morning managed a nice pile-up before the end of the contest.
I even forgot that the local time, now, equals UTC :)
Band conditions:
.80 meters: full of static noise, S 9 QRN (saturday night).
.40 meters: not much QRN, some openings to South America
.20 meters: as funny as it might seem, was great for PACC :)
