Comments:
Same problems as VE3EJ on the other side of the lake with less freezing rain and
more snow. My 24 hour stint also had to be truncated.
Bonus QSO's were 134 and BCA's 87. Africa was again excellent on all 4 bands.
(ten what's ten?) Nothing like a shot down Lake Ontario to the east from 300m
higher! My only beam was on 20m, the rest wire dipoles. Only two QSO's with HQ
stations outside Canada, GB5CC and VU2UR, both on 20m. Thanks to VE7RAC,
VA3RAC, VA2RAC and VO1RAC for another 9 Q's. Lso special thanks to VE4YU, VE9DX
and VY2SS for unique area QSO's.
I think the Team Competition is doing great things for the contest. Nice
selection of DX, ZS, VK and ZL. Now all we need is proper propagation on 15 and
10!
