Comments:
Man, that was hard going. It took me 16 minutes to work my first Q in the
contest and that was when 20M was at its best. Things got worse from there.
Accordingly, this score is considerably lower than the last two years. I just
couldn't be heard in FL.
The winner in the mobile category for this station was K4OJ/M with 23 QSOs, but
there were several other rovers that I found more than 15 times, N4KK, W4AN,
N4BP and N4EEB coming to mind. Without them this score would be definitely
bust! My thanks go out to them -- that cannot be easy operating!
I think I must have been the only VE/MAR on the air for at least some period of
time. I found myself getting more respect than usual!
