Comments:
This was the first time David got on the air (my son - KE5VDR) along with my son
Alex and my Daughter Victoria, we tried some 10SSB and 2m / 220 / 440 FM simplex
for the afternoon.
We worked 2 Florida stations on 10m SSB, and their signals were nice and strong
- wish there were more stations on. Otherwise worked most of the local clubs on
2m FM with a couple of stations we could QSY to 220 or 440.
My son Alex (12) was the TROOPER - Butt-in-chair calling CQ for most of the
afternoon, alternating between 2m FM and 10m SSB, until around 5pm when
World-Of-Warcraft sounded more appealing and he was back to his computer.
Hoping for more sunspots!
Scott - KI5DR (control Op.)
