Comments:
No 10 M, almost no 15M, weak 20M, but good 40M and fair 80M.
The 4 element wire beam on 40 provided a lot of fun, and the new elevated
vertical on 80m was reasonable in the QRN.
All in all a fun contest.
One small difficulty with the format: The scoring forces one to go where the
rates are maximum and gives no reward to geographical diversity. For example,
if you can't go all 24 hours, you will likely have to choose between working
late until EU dies out: or going to bed early and getting up for the last 3
hours or so. For everyone in the US except west coast, the better rates are
towards EU. Hence little incentive to go to bed early and get up early.
However, it's always a fun contest.
