Comments:

Total includes 400 bonus points for working K4TCG four times.

I remember how much fun the TNQP was last year and this year was no exception.
Really non-stop action thanks in large part to so many mobiles, but more than
normal fixed activity on more bands really helped as well.

Most of the activity I could hear during the day was on 40m, but right at the
beginning I had a nice 20m opening which went long too quickly. 40m was open
to central TN all day which really helped me find W4NZ/m since he operated the
central counties and stayed pretty near the same frequencies most of the day.
Western and eastern TN took turns coming into Kansas, so mobiles in those areas
also took turns going missing for awhile, but I still managed to work 76/95
counties .. one more than last year. Putting last year and this year's
counties together, I'm now only missing Cannon, Fentress, and Johnson.

I'm still shaking my head over not one but two /MM from multiple counties
including a houseboat .. great job WA4SM/mm and KI4THY/mm! I sometimes put my
second radio on one or the other and just listened to the fun. Might have to
rethink my Texas QSO Party mobile strategy in a few weeks ...

Hats off to the mobiles as always. Will look forward to reading about your
trips. Here's a quick tally .. hope I got everyone :

23 W4NZ/M .. did I miss Cannon, Ted? Once again, the loudest /M from KS Award.
12 NY4N/M
10 K4LTA W4OQG NEXT
8 W9WI/M
7 K4ZGB/M
7 NA4K .. nice move to both 160CW and 160SSB (most fixed Qs)
5 N4ZZ W4CK

3 KF4ALB/M KG4RWZ/M NA4C/M WA4SM/MM
2 KI4THY/MM KJ4BIX/M KK4TA/M W4SQD/M WB4CHH/M

Missed the following counties this year (worked all I heard) :

CANN CART CLAI FAYE FENT GIBS HAWK HAYW HICK JEFF JOHN LAKE MARS OBIO OVER ROAN
SMIT STEW UNIC

Special thanks to the Tennessee Contest Group for organizing the event once
again. Count me in for next year!

I'll be mobile from 33 counties in the Texas QSO Party on Sept 27-28, so hope
to work you all again soon.

73, Bob, w0bh
