Whew! Had a computer problem with Vista on Thurs. morning and didn't get the
machine back from the shop until twenty minutes before the start! Thank you
Mr. Gates!!!
20M closed early in AK and 40M didn't open to the midwest and east coast until
2 hours into the contest. In between it was 7 land only! Worked Scott KA9FOX
on 40M while he was beaming east. Later heard and worked many SMC stations.
Heard Pat WW9R once, but couldn't bust the pile before he moved. One of these
years I hope to get the hang of the exchange right at the start instead of 30
minutes into it!
