Part-time effort this weekend..life gets in the way of ham radio sometimes.
Using minimal rig, FT 840 and PAR endfedz 20 and longwire for 40, Logikey k-5
keyer and father's-day-present Begali simplex.
Managed 84 counties. Kudos to the mobile operators. K5NA-13 contacts, n5na-6,
ww5x-5 (1000 extra points between those three)ke5ms-4, k5un-2, n4cd-2, n3bb-2,
wc5d-4, w3dya-1, and n05w-1. I heard no5w all over the place but my puny
signal just wasn't making it.
Heard nt5o all during both days pounding brass with a straight key..his wrist
has got to hurt. Strongest and most consistant signal heard here (east TN) was
k5see.
