Comments:
Score is very approximate. Our DOS NA logger crashed many times, corrupting
some of the log data, but WX5S has a de-scrambler program which will restore
the log. We hope to convert to WINXP network and Wintest S/W before CQ WW. We
hope WinTest will support CQP next year.
Needless to say, we all experienced the worst 10 AND 15m conditions of this
cycle. Fortunately, the low bands were good. We set several band score
records for N6O (12 year history): 40m SSB and Total QSOs; 80m SSB and total
QSOs; 160m CW and Total QSOs.
We had five K3s in place Friday night, but did not have DVP capability on all
positions until Sunday AM; thanks to K6IAM for rewiring the Yaesu cables.
Special thanks to K6AW who fell ill on Thursday, but drove to Oakley to set up
the K3s/network on Friday. Steve could not operate the contest, but his help in
getting the station ready was invaluable.
