Personal best for me and the first time on the sunny side of 200K. We
completely rebuilt all the antennas this summer and it looks like the hard work
paid off, especially on 40 meters. First contest with the new K3's, very happy
happy with their performance on crowded noisy bands.
Second year in a row that 20 meters has been putrid from here. I made 19% of
my Q's on 20, go figure! We need some sunspots.
Great fun to hear W3GRF and W4KFC on the bands again. And also great to hear
K0DQ snapping them off right and left. Sounded like XE1IIJ revisited.
Didn't think I'd get the sweep this year and then KE0A called me on 80 meters
late in the contest. He probably thinks I'm crazy for send "TU" 28 times in a
row hi hi.
