Comments:

First I stink at CW. I can't run stations very well because off some kind of
intimidation factor. So, Iâ??m a search and pounce guy. I can copy the stuff
at 30 wpm because I get several chances but this station wonâ??t have a golden
log. Sorry if I messed you up. Iâ??ll buy you a diet Pepsi if you lose points
because of me.

So having said that know that I think this is always a fun event. My stinky
antenna seems to work the big boys, but Sunday I worked several QRP stations.
I did that power level the past couple of years and know what itâ??s like. My
new Yaesu FT-950 absolutely rocks. Bone crushing signals 250 to 500 Hz away
and clean perfect copy with IF DSP. I heard more than Iâ??ve ever heard
before. Glad to be back at 100 watts. Conditions seemed very good. Had a S9
line noise issue for a while but we worked through it. 80 meters was very good
here late on Saturday night. I must always remember that 40 meters is great
earlier than you normally expect from California.

Thanks for the Qâ??s.
