Comments:
Thanks to KD0S mobile and KD0DSI for my 2 Q's, both in state South Dakota! I
heard a lot of pings while I was working on a new computer room in my basement
hanging the ceiling tiles, but by the time I got over to the rig they were gone
not to be heard again.
I don't think you can have a tall enough tower or big enough stacks to make it
during conditions like these!!
If listening time counts as operating time, I had a LOT. Listened all day
Saturday until 1:40 AM Sunday morning, and then listened Sunday afternoon quite
a lot.
No sporadic E or much of anything except the occasional meteor ping here, in
Pierre SD, DN94.
Maybe next time will be better, and I can also put up antennas for the other
bands.
