Comments:
My worst contest ever. Multiple ice storms prior to the contest damaged my
antennas. The first snapped my 2M yagi in half. I was able to straighten some
bent loops and stuff but not all. Still, I got all 6 bands working FB for the
contest. I couldn't operate the entire contest. I had to bag it early Saturday
night after getting a nagging chill. I think I had only 23K at that point.
Didn't get started Sunday until around 8:30 am, completed my one and only WSJT
sked with N0PB EM39 on both 6 and 2. Caught a small 6M Es opening late Sunday
morning to the west which was most welcome. I was just starting to think
positive after working W3OR FM28 on 903 when my 1296 transverter blew out. Of
course, almost no one wanted to run bands with me until I .
