Comments:
One of the toughest VHF contests in a while. No local rovers, bad local noise on
6, 144 and 903, generally flat conditions.
Had to take a break Sunday afternoon (bands were dead anyway) to prepare for a
business trip on Monday and snowblow out the driveway. Heard later in the day I
missed a short 6M opening! Really struggled with 6M contacts all weekend.
The last hour was exciting as some enhanced conditions to the west and was able
to work some of the EN grids including VE3OIL/R in FN04.
Thanks to all the locals who gave out a few points. Much appreciated. Also fun
to swap stories during the contest!
