Comments:

FT1000MP, Alpha 78, 300W on 20, 600W on 40 and 80. Had some RF problem on 20M
and the keying locked up if power was over 300W. Hope to fix that by Saturday.
TH6DXX is still not repaired. Band conditions were fantastic tonight. 20M has
not been open here at 0230Z in months. Tonight, I heard K9OM in FL just before
0230Z and signals from IN to CA were good when the Practice started. 40M had
no appreciable skip zone and K1ZZI about 120 miles away was good copy. All
stations had good signals on 40 and the rate was good (27 in 17 mins). Same
for 80. No QRN and signals from CA were quite strong. Didn't hear any Pacific
NW on 80. Hope many of the newcomers to Thursday night practices will come
back often. Welcome to K6ZH, N5WR, K3TN, K6LL, AC0DS, N3ZZ, W6YX, N5DX, K9YC,
K9QVB, and KV8Q who are not the usual suspects on Thursday nights. Hope to see
you all in tomorrow night's practice and in the real thing Saturday night. 73,
John, K4BAI.
