Nice to catch that morning on 160.
Like John, ON4UN mentioned in his message myself concour
that conditions on 160 seems to be very encouraging at the moment.
I am not realy a 160 m man, but have been a few times there
years back with great joy. Was very nice band also in last 160 cw.
Now for arrl cw my intention was to carry 20 SOSB, but woke
up 4.30z Sunday morning with curiosity. Some signals from NA were very nice,
lots of empty space if compared to 160 cw ctest.
Soon after the band from my chair looked like being on 20 m,
with hourly rate 100 qso. First 1 1/2h was very good, next hour
slightly worse, but still enough to count 180 qso and 40 states in
2.30h of operation. Would not belive that the day before.
This is also owing to nice disciplined queue that stations made somehow.
In comparison to 160 cw ctest no West Coast this time.
WY as single real 7 was worked owing to N7NG,
NM (NN5K), ND (NT0V), LA (KD5D) etc., not a single CA.
Sorry, my log program is not giving all stations worked per each mult.
Baverage proved very well, there were no real trouble with weaker stations.
