I haven't yet read other 3830 entries, so don't know what others experienced,
but, from this QTH conditions were not optimal. On forty, those I heard, I
worked, but unfortunately, I didn't hear many! Combination of poor antennas
and high noise level is pretty limiting. Also, propagation was long on 40.
OL6X was loud here and I worked on the first call, but hardly a peep out of New
England. Still, a great way to spend a cold wet Saturday! Thanks for the Q's
