This was my first ever RTTY contest. Had made an attempt to work the ARRL RTTY
RU, but ran into a number of Tx issues. Finally made my first transmission
Saturday (thanks SP4K for letting me know about only making carrier). Made
three quick QSOs before the contest and Ed W0YK was fortunate enough to be my
first contest RTTY QSO,
Have some issues to work out, like why my soundcard record features shuts off
with every enter stroke using N1MM, but got a rhythm going and it wasn't too
bad. Had limited time to play and low expectations of my abilities so am quite
pleased with 165 QSOs. 80 was pretty good but my antenna was acting up, so was
limited.
Sorry I couldn't "chat", it would have killed a lot of time with my mistakes or
lack of "how to" on the details. Thanks for the patience and sorry to those I
missed.
