Comments:

Lots & lots of QRN the second day of the contest making it difficult to get the
weaker ones (participation was way down the second day, too, on 160 --- most
likely the higher static levels weren't limited strictly to Newcastle,
Ontario!).

Too bad that some of the well known "big gun" stations didn't exercise their
receivers a little more, than they did their automatic "CQ DX" calling
machines: there were many instances wherein I could hear weak DX stations
calling beneath some well-known operators / stations who SHOULD know better. 

Similarly, it's always "open season" & an international past time on topband,
it seems, for specific "ghurus" on 1.8-MHz to want to enforce capital
punishment upon anyone unfortunate enough to have ANY degree of key clicks
while operating CW --- yet these same purists seem to be comletely oblivious to
some of the horrendous SSB splattering & over-use of speech processors in events
such as this...
