Comments:

Hi,

Great contest as usual. I had the pleasure to work from ZY7C Contest Station
with my personal call. Thanks for PT7CB and family for the support.

Amazing how many Russian stations I could work in S&P versus CQing, many mults
ware just over there, a VFO turn.

The surprise was been called by VK9AA on 40m CW and QSO with JT1T at 10z on 20m
very weak - it took 2min to get a roger from him. I tried hard making the second
radio â??unuselessâ??, but my â??poorman SO2Râ?? setup isnâ??t helping anyhow.
For serious SO2R effort I need one of those SO2R Boxes.

Band breakdown
There was propagation to NA & EU, but high rain noise level made impossible
listen on the topband. Sorry If I CQed in your face. Tried some S&P there is a
rule: you can not call what you are not listen hi hi...

80m was the most frustrating band. As noise was lower than 40m I expect more
from this band. I never got a strong rate in SSB or even on CW. The Europeans
Big Guns just CQed over my calls.

I really gave my best on 40m, the noisiest band, but only one paying me back on
the dark hours. Fighting noise I could set a constant string of stations in CW.
I got many and surprising clear spots between 7100-130. No broadcasting and no
one calling. There came over miracles 100 QSOs on forty.

I got very busy on 20m. I spent more the planned time on 20m for two reasons:
noise on the 40m sunrise and realy amazing opening both USA and Europe most of
the day.

My roots are CW, and this was very clear on 15m. I did put too much energy on
SSB on this band. CW on 15m was so delicious that it just jail me there,
forgetting the strategy.

And 10m? Some PYs from the south got the predicted opening to Asia/Pacific at
23z, but I didnâ??t. Maybe next year, with more sunspots.

Thank all for QSOs.

Now officially start CQ WPX preparation.
ZY7C will be the air as Mult-Op ???, not sure about usual M/S or serious M/2
effort. Please, look for us on the bands.
