Comments:
First time ever being on RTTY, let alone running a
contest in RTTY. This was a good contest to break in on.
I attempted to put in a strong for the short time I was on.
Thanks to locals K6ST and W6EU for helping me to
get set-up.
Bands were fair, other than no activity on 15m. Got
a reasonable run of JA's Saturday afternoon whch was
a gas. Not much late night activity, had to bounce
between 80m and 40m as I kept working the band
out between running and S & P efforts.
On 20m kept the amp off due to potential
neighbor problems and just ran 80w out. Sure
missed the amp when i heard EU's loud and they
could not hear me.
Very little Sunday effort. Had a Sierra Avalanche Center Ski
Day at Sugar Bowl, since I am on the Board of Directors needed to make a
presence, besides the powder skiing was great, almost best of the year.
