Comments:

Radio: K3 @ 100W
Antennas: TH6 due west (20m) ; 40-2CD due west (40m) ; Inv. V dipole NNW/SSE
(80m). Never got around to switching to the multi-band dipole or multi-band
vertical. The frantic pace seems to make me forget to try other antennas. I
just seem to keep CQing, tuning, and pouncing and forget to switch antennas
until I change bands. :)

Much better this week -- finally got the score back over the 1k level.
Activity was great, and more mults were available this time. On all three
bands, signals were stronger, and noise was somewhat lower, compared with the
past two weeks in IL. Planned to only spend 2 minutes on 20 and not make the
same mistake as last week, but it was hopping, and I stayed there for 6
minutes.

Op times: First 6 minutes on 20, next 15 minutes on 40, and last 9 minutes on
80. Still missed many "jump balls," many of my CQs went unanswered, and too
many inherited frequencies were silent after a QSO. Eighty was a tad slow at
first, but it quickly "swarmed."

I apologize for the delays in answering some of you (every week). Sometimes,
typing errors / corrections reduce my response time -- even though I copied you
the first time. Need to get fingers and brain more in synch sometimes.

I recorded the SNS and the HS NS again this week. I don't have a website to
post them, so I will send them to W0YK and Cal / K0DXC for possible posting.

This is great fun. To the NCCC crew: thank you very much for sponsoring and
promoting this event and for making everyone welcome. Thanks again to my
grandson Cal / K0DXC for getting me interested in participating in these FB
sprints.

Thanks for the Qs and Ms. 73, Gary
