Great fun, even w/o some of the big horses.... its obvious who's at Dayton and
who's not...and who's on the way with a great mobile signal! FB NO3M/M in OH.
Thanks to local boys W7OM (.5 miles away, K7RI (2 mi) and W7VJ (20 mi) and NG7Z
(20 mi) there was plenty of local action. 22 of 63 Qs were w/ locals.
20 was great into the midwest, with faraway K2XA in Buffalo, getting thru as
well, and backscatter VVA and RO making the trip up north. For awhile it seemed
like the band should be renamed the BGL BAND. wow.. Karl was everywhere all the
time!! TNX ! 40 was tough.. WD0T had the booming signal, and apologies to K7IA
with an unfinished QSO..sorry. 80 was its usual summer full sunlight band...with
RO and VVA at ESP level making it into the log for the only non WA QSOs. Welcome
to new guy W7VJ who is now at it for the third week in a row...my bet is he will
become a full-time regular. And welcome first time heard/worked W0DB in
NEBRASKA. See youse guys next time !! de DanWah K7SS
