Solar conditions: SFI=74 A=1 K=0
Expected better conditions with SFI at 74 and the A and K indices pretty low.
Bands were junk, though.
15M never cracked open very wide -- a few loud SAs, a few weak SAs and not much
else. 26 for 13 mults last year, 17 for 10 mults this year.
20M was lukewarm to SA, and weak to NA. Ended up with more 20M Qs and mults
(129 for 23 last year, 142 for 28 this year). Ran most of Saturday and last few
hours Sunday afternoon with tower at 27'.
40M was good with the new dipole, even up just 45' -- better than I did last
year with half-squares (six more Qs, one fewer mult this year).
Got on for about 10 hours total. Ran about half the time low power, seeing how
the new antenna plays without the extra oomph. Score down about 900 points from
last year, with overall Q and mult totals identical to 2008.
Very friendly bunch of SA ops makes it a pleasure to be in this one. Thanks to
