A real part time effort, stealing minutes here and there between chores. With
spring several weeks behind schedule, all the yard work has piled up and it is
still snowing in Winnipeg!
Pretty decent conditions on 20m as EU was open from 13:00Z to after 00:00Z,
East Asia was open just after sunrise and again just before sunset. East Russia
seems to be open 24 hours on 20m.
Saturday morning there was a weak E's opening that allowed 15m and 10m contacts
with the US. Did manage to work an Argentina station on 10m on Sunday but I
think he busted my call. Very few SA stations on 15m and only the one on 10m.
No South African stations heard on any band.
I am totally amazed with the scores I was seeing on Sunday. It seems everyone
had 1500 or more QSO's in the log. Not sure if it was just the conditions or
are CW scores always higher than the SSB events?
Thanks for the patience and the Q's.
