Comments:
Call sign confusion with NO3M reached a new level tonight. Ty and I exchanged
signal reports just at the starting bell and when he called shortly after the
bell rang I typed in my own call! At least Ty's recording shows I was a
loud-lid in PA:)
After that I couldn't get anything going on 20. Signals were loud (K6VVA in
particular) but I got beat out many many times on jump balls. I've noticed that
I can work a weak CQing station much easier than a loud one so perhaps as a weak
station I should be CQing more. Had a pipeline into Austin tonight working N3BB
on 40 and 80 for my only TX Qs.
Still great fun even though I managed only 3 more Qs than I had operating
mobile two weeks ago. Thanks for the Qs.
73/Chuck
