With 21 Q's in the bag at 0240, I was having major fantasies about possibly
getting 60's tonight. Then things went downhill. It has been 2 years since I
made 50 Q's in any NS, and just can't seem to get over the hump again.
Congrats to Cal/K0DXC on breaking the elusive 50 Q barrier tonight. Way to go,
Kid.
Nice to hear and work Kelly/VE4XT in the NS again. I was out of sync with
Bud/VA7ST, but then surprise-surprise - connected with Bob from VE7/W0BH and we
even had a 2nd Q that started at 02:59:55 :^) Enjoy your trip, Bob. DanWA said
you folks had a great time during your stopover in Seattle.
A quick exchange on 40m with Jim/N3BB just before the NS started raised my
hopes of multiple NSL Q's with Mr. Booga, but not even one N3BB NS QSO got in
the log. Life is strange sometimes. Did manage to work the other JimTX
(W5JAW) - Tnx, Mr. J-JAW!
Ed/W0YK was mysteriously missing tonight. Didn't hear a peep from him.
Perhaps Ed was running another NS DASH event somewhere on the planet?
No NV mult tonight since Kurt/K7NV is out-of-town for his niece's wedding. I'm
QRX for a photo of Kurt in his Monkey Suit (Tux) when he returns.
Surprisingly, no crashes, lock-ups or major QLF's on this end tonight. Miracles
never cease!!!
73 & Tnx for all the Q's & Mults...
