Comments:
Won't be in town for this year's Stew, so did the warmup instead. 100W and
downsized antennas to be steath in a small yard with "no antennas" restriction.
Marconi 35 ft high and 2/3 sized K9AY for RX.
Could have used more activity. Ran out of stations before running out of time.
Best "DX" was HI, AK and VE1. Nothing longer heard or worked other than one
KP4. But did work K4M on 160 two days ago, so know its possible!
This was a trial of the Marconi to see if it was an improvement over my usual
inverted L. Results inconclusive, but don't see any obvious advantage, and it
is substantually more work to erect here. So may go back to the inverted L for
the other 160 contests this winter.
