Comments:

Sunspots are back...well one at least...

The week before the contest, the new 20 meter beam was put up
thanks to K1HI, K2TE, K1BG and KB1EKE. At the last minute, the
beam was slipping on the mast and a last minute climb on Friday
afternoon by KB1EKE got it squared away.

Conditions on the first night for the low bands were terrible and
there was lots of rain static on the big 40 meter beam. The four
square became our main antenna for 40 using the beam only for
transmit when the four square just wasn't enough.

The new 20 worked very well and provided a boost on 20. The recent
sunspot seems to have given 15 meters a good boost as well.

MVP for this contest gets split three ways this time. K1HI and K2TE
for their hard work getting the new 20 up in the air and WO1N for
helping to clean up the workshop during his spare time here.

On to the CW weekend!

Jerry, K0TV
