My first contest using an amplifier, an old Henry 3KD, and what a difference it
can make!
40M was a blast but just crazy and 20M was perfect. I assume we will get some
sort of 10M opening here at 64N within the next couple of years.
Got to put my new IC-7600 through the paces and I am really pleased with it so
far. Now I need to get some decent antennas up for 80 and 160, got a lot of
requests to QSY to those bands but my 80 loop is only good locally in the
state.
