Comments:

Overall conditions were jost OK.

40 Meters was the money band with continuous huge EU pileups. A lot of the
time the rate bogged down while I tried to call a station thru it.

20 was good, but no EU opening later in the day like years past.

15 was the best in years with decent EU most of the first half of the day and
then a nice smooth run to the US, but still not the big JA runs of the past.

Propagation seened down on 80 and 160. Signals were weaker and openings
shorter than last year.

Decided to try the assisted category this year. Still learning that if you
spend more than 3 min to get the mult, you're losing ground! Ended up with
nearly 1000 fewer Q's than last year but about 100 more mults.

Thanks for all the Q's. See you in the ARRL CW in Feb

73,

John, ZF2AM/K6AM
