Hi contesters, I worked with my new rig IC-7700 during this contest â?? I bought
it and received it only 8 hours before contest. My idea was 2500 QSO but in fact
I wasn´t successfull. I have had problem to find and keep some free frequency
for RUN so finally I have had less connections when I wanted. I prefered RUN
than S/P so I have smaller quantity of multipliers, I also thought that I´ll
have 140 countries at least and also I haven´t zones 34, 36 and 39. So I know
right now where to be better :-). Otherwise great participation in this
contest, I noticed that on Sunday was belt to JA opened later than on Saturday
(on Saturday were better conditions to JA). This contest was real contest
marathon, I still have bruised my ears till this time :-)
I used IC-7700, PA OM Power OM2500HF, 1,5 kW OUT, 3 el. Yagi M2 18 m above
ground and Inverted Vee about 13 m above ground, computer with N1MM log, I also
food and tea from my wife (many thanks). Thank all of you for QSO and sometime
for patience because I had clear frequency without interferences (jamming) only
seldom. Congratulations to winners and to all contesters who participated on the
whole contest till end. See you again in CQ WW 2010.
