Comments:
Congratulations to all the multi-multi teams for putting together some great
scores this weekend! Special congratulations to the K1LZ team for their
impressive score! It's going to be another photo-finish with W3LPL and K3LR -
great job, guys!
We're still making some improvements as the station finally settles in again
after the rebuild. Matt's oldest daughter Sabrina was a great help last week
laying down radials under a new 15-Meter 4-Square for the second 15 Meter
station. The antenna worked well, giving the 15B operators another antenna
choice. Great job, Sabrina! She'll be climbing towers for her Old Man before
long! <g>
Conditions on 40 at the start of the contest were some of the best we've ever
seen. We also caught a very cool opening to Africa and Europe on 10 - looking
forward to the days when we can take that for granted again! Combined with
good conditions, the new antenna systems on those bands are playing very well.
Thanks to Taro, JA1BJI, for dropping by Friday to visit the station.
As always, a BIG thank you to Christine and the girls, who always finish #1 in
the World in the Multi-Hostesses category!
