Ran the new K3 for the first time in a major contest.
I guess you can say it was a success. Used the diversity
reception for most of the contest with a NE/SW Beverage on the
sub receiver. It worked very well.
Worked some DX:
6Y,C6,CT,EI,F,FM,G,GM,HA,HC,HC8,HI,KP2,LY,OK,OM,ON,PA,PJ2,SM,VP5,ZF.
Missed 6 section: ORG,SDG,NL,NT,PR & AK
Even after 50+ years of Ham Radio I'm still amazed at what can be
worked with low power and a wire on 160M.
