Comments:
Terrific band conditions Friday night with openings
to EU, China and SA, etc. Was able to run stations
at 184/hr on peaks and avgeraged 100+ for more than
two hours. Saturday night conditions were poor to fair
with only a few DX stations heard and worked here in Utah.
Operated this year's contest from the Hurricane Mesa Test Facility
about 8 miles west of Zion National Park at 5,300 ft.
Antenna: 160 meter dipole supported by flag pole
on the edge of a 1,200 ft. overlook. Receive antenna was
a short NE/SW 250 ft. beverage.
