Comments:

I guess M/S is the right category since I tried using packet with N1MM for the
first time. The program crashed about once every half hour with the following
error message: "Interpretive Response -6- Overflow" and sometimes "Run time
error out of stale space." Anyone know what that's all about? Anyway, with a
funeral and a whole lot of other obligations, I was just going to play a little
and see what packet assisted is like. I ran a few times, but never got
spotted. Luckily, there were at least 4 other active SC stations so I played
at working DX with a fairly minimal antenna, a slopping (about 55 degrees)
inverted L with the top at 64 feet. It's below an antenna stack on a 65'
tower, and I have to raise it to 85+ feet (about 65 degree slope)above the
antenna stack for it to be a good DX antenna. When I do that, I can't rotate
the antenna stack, so I only do it for a serious effort. Missed MS and WY for
WAS. Worked some Europe, but no Africa, Asia, or Oceania other than four KH6.
Thanks for the Qs. I'll play a little next weekend in the 10M test.
